The Tattooed Portraits Series is documentation of artists that are tattooed, tattoo artists, their tools and materials. The focus for this show is Los Angeles Tattoo Artists, with paintings and watercolors of many of LA’s most beloved and storied tattoo artists working today. The intensity of the work involved and the number of artists that are documented for this show is by no means a complete overview of the Los Angeles Tattoo Community- but it does have it’s depth. Artists painted for this show include:
Bob Roberts, Jack Rudy, Mark Mahoney, Juan Puente, Dan Dringenberg, Kat Von D, Corey Miller, Rick Walters, Greg James, Mr. Cartoon, Clay Decker, Baby Ray, Charlie Roberts, Robert Atkinson, Tennessee Dave, Small Paul, Marco Ceretelli, Danny Romo, Shannon O’Sullivan, Eric Maaske, Jeffrey Page and Kari Barba.
